Cairo University President Gaber Nassar said that ،،housing at Cairo University hostels are scheduled to end within the first three weeks of study for male students. As for female students, their housing will end within the first week of study. ,,

Cairo University President added that،،it is scheduled to begin Hepatitis C examination for Cairo University students as well as drug analysis starting from the first day of housing. ,,

Cairo University President said that ،،there are rules for demonstrations inside the university, most important of which are presenting a request that illustrates the protest purpose and those who are in charge of it. ,, He added that ،،the University never confiscates the right of freedom of speech, provided that it is built on the rules posed by the university. ,,

Cairo University President said that ،، a committee was formed of the university administration to consider the potential of contracting with Falcon Security Company. ,, Cairo University Council for Education and Student Affairs held a meeting attended by the Education and Students Affairs Vice-Deans at faculties to discuss the preparations of the university faculties for 2016/2017. These preparations include student registration and enrollment, finishing new students medical examination, student distribution on departments and sections, finishing all maintenance work at the university hostels and laboratories equipment. In addition, study schedules and student activities plan are to be announced on the faculties websites.

Education and Student Affairs Council urged the continuous assessment of students by in between exams, time intervals between lectures to practice different activities and the non-increase of hostels fees.

Cairo University is to hold a celebration for previously enrolled and new students at the campus yard on Monday, September 26, 2016. The celebration will be attended by Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar who will make a tour at some faculties and meet professors and students to be assured of the educational process progress.
