Cairo University and Akhbar Elyom Conference Extends Application to EGP 500, 000 Awards to April 29, Adds New Award for Best Successful Experiences at Schools

The scientific committee for ،،Education in Egypt Towards Creative Solutions,, conference, of Cairo University and Akhbar Elyom, extends the deadline of receiving solutions for ten problems of pre-university and academic education to Saturday, April 29, 2017, through the e-mail edu.innovation@cu.edu.eg. Cairo University allocates EGP 500, 000 awards for the best applicable solutions of EGP 50, 000 for each solution. The conference administration adds new award to the conference awards for best successful experiences of schools directors or educational administration directors.
The committee classifies the problems in pre-university education into general secondary stage future and exams systems development, confronting private lessons, density crisis at schools, school books and the integration of knowledge bank in educational process and development of technical education and linking it to industry.
The committee classifies the problems in higher education and scientific research into the optimum model for enrollment at universities, economic administration for higher education institutions, how to benefit from scientific research in Egypt and direct it for serving state needs, linking graduates to labor market and education quality and promoting global rankings of universities.
The scientific committee of the conference is composed of senior professors from different universities to assess presented solutions and choose the applicable ones to review in front of decision makers before holding the conference which is scheduled to be held at Al Masa Hotel on April 30, 2017. The winners will be allowed to present their solutions to society through the conference which is to be attended by the Minister of Education, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, concerned ministers, elite of experts in education, and representatives of students and student parents. The committee decided that solutions should be presented in not more than six Microsoft Word pages including the idea, implementation mechanisms, its impact on the system and implementation timetable.
