Cairo University Tackles Future of Faculties of Commerce in International Conference with 3 Ministers and Cairo University President Attending

Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University, launches international scientific conference, entitled ،،The Future of Sustainability in Business Organizations,, , from April 22 to April 24, 2017, at Marriott Hotel Zamalek. The conference is sponsored by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Yasser Al-Qady, Minister of Business Sector Ashraf Al-Sharqawy, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, and Cairo University President Gaber Nassar. It is attended by the deans of faculties of commerce at Egyptian Universities and elite of Egyptian and foreign researchers and specialists.
The conference is aimed at reaching mechanisms that boost restructuring the governmental commerce science sector by the Egyptian state and Supreme Council of University. This is to help the sustainability of developing and internationalizing business whether in financial and administrative education sector or in business institutions.
Faculty of Commerce Dean, Cairo University, Ehab Abu-Eish said that ،،The Future of Sustainability in Business Organizations,, conference, organized by the faculty dedicated the first day for holding international workshop, entitled ،،The Future of Faculties of Commerce in Egypt,, , on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.,, The workshop is attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Cairo University President, Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities, all the members of Commercial Sector Committee at Supreme Council of Universities, and deans of faculties of commerce at Egyptian universities. Concerned authorities of commercial education in Egypt, some men of industry, as well as Trade Union and some non-profit organizations concerned with higher education including the authorities of Fullbright, Amideast and American aid will also be present in the workshop. Two lectures are to be delivered by speakers from Harvard University and University of Warwick in the workshop.
The workshop, entitled ،،The Future of Faculties of Commerce in Egypt,, discusses some important topics most important of which are the futuristic vision for business science sector and the reality of our time and the way for internationalization. It also tackles the future of business faculties, the vision and demands of business and industry men from business faculties and the vision of international authorities that sponsor business science education.
Prof. Dr. Ehab Abu-Eish said that ،،it is expected that the workshop ends with a group of recommendations that draw the future of faculties of commerce in Egypt and work mechanisms for restoring its regional and international status.,,
The activities of international scientific conference of Faculty of Commerce on ،،The Future of Sustainability in Business Organizations,, start on Sunday April 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. They are to be opened by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, the Minister of Business Sector and Cairo University President after delegation from conference administration and the conference international speakers pay a visit to Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and inaugurate its work of Sunday session.
Faculty of Commerce Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies Affairs and the Conference Chair Magdy Abdel-Qader said that ،،it is scheduled that the conference hosts six speakers and expert international business administration on Sunday April, 2017, and Monday April, 24, 2017.,,
The conference tackles 48 different work papers for group of researchers from some states; Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Pakistan, England and America. Seven sessions over two days are dedicated for tackling work papers related to some topics. The work papers to be tackled are related to the future of sustainability in business organizations, sustainable business administration, sustainable companies governance, sustainable social responsibility, sustainable marketing directions, administration research directions, funding and capital markets in emergent market and sustainable accounting practices.
