Cairo University President: ،University Social Solidarity Fund Activated for Helping Unable Students in Coming Academic Year,

Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht decides exempting Cairo University orphan students and unable students from study fees starting from the new academic year 2017/2018. Cairo University President said that ،،The university will help students by Cairo University Social Solidarity Fund and faculties social solidarity funds as well.,,

Elkhosht added that ،،Boosting university students includes conducting surgeries for students at Students Hospital, buying prosthetic devices, medical headphones for students with special needs, paying study fees for students, and paying hostel fees for visually impaired students and other cases.,,

Elkhosht pointed out that ،،Financial support is presented to students through Social Solidarity Fund according to social cases such as two-parents orphans, chronic diseases, lack of income, deceased father, divorce and family break-ups cases, and other cases to be checked by social specialists.,,

Work in social solidarity fund is developed to facilitate procedures to students. Students who have the right for financial support should apply from the first year. The support is exchanged for deserving students until they are graduated. Central Social Solidarity Fund – Cairo University and social solidarity funds of faculties provide unable university students with social care.
