Faculty of Physical Therapy Dean: First International Student Conference for Scientific Research for Faculty Succeeds in Encouraging Students to Conduct Scientific Research

 Faculty of Physical Therapy Dean at Cairo University Alaa Balbaa refers to the success of first international student conference for scientific research sponsored by Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht. The activities are concluded by positive results and turnout on student research at conference. Balbaa said that this event encourages students to create and innovate and conduct scientific research. He refers to the participation of students from Egyptian Universities (Cairo University, Kafr El Sheikh University, South Valley University, Misr University for Science and Technology, Pharos University, Modern Academy, Delta University for Science and Technology, and Deraya University). The two Lebanese Universities; Saint Joseph University and Beirut Arab University also participate in the conference. Faculty of Engineering Helwan University participates in the conference regarding prosthetic devices research. Prof. Dr. Alaa Balbaa added that the conference importance is related to student interaction in exchanging experiences and information during discussions. The most prominent lecture in the conference is the lecture delivered by Dr. Haiman Zainalabedin Professor of Faculty of Science and the Manager of Strategic Plan Unit at Cairo University. Zainalabedin Sheds light on the stages of Cairo University transformation into third-generation university which Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht calls for. Zainalabedin acclaims the quick steps taken by Faculty of Physical Therapy in this regard by obtaining international accreditation and adopting this international research conference to transfer students from knowledge receivers to interactive participators in research and conferences.

Faculty of Physical Therapy Dean at Cairo University Alaa Balbaa enunciates his appreciation of Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht for supporting Faculty of Physical Therapy and encouraging scientific research among students. He extends his thanks to Egyptian and Lebanese students participating in the conference and the committee supervised by Faculty Vice-Dean for Education and Students Gihan Elmeniawy.
