Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht said that adding the problem-solving question to bubble sheet exam will come according to the nature of every faculty and its study with 5% only of exam. He pointed out that the question is optional in first term exams and can be posed by the same bubble sheet method as a transitional stage.

Elkhosht pointed out that he is keen on changing thinking pattern for students and training them to think scientifically through the problem-solving ability which passes through four stages. Problem-solving begins by examining problems, followed by posing assumptions and solutions, then testing them to verify hypothesis to attain the most suitable assumption for solving the problem and applying it.

Elkhosht added that he works on development, but he refuses speedy changes. He pointed out that any development in education should be achieved gradually. Students should be prepared for development without surprises.
