Student Union President, Vice-President, Supreme Committee Secretaries Elected in Last Stage of Cairo University Student Elections

 The last stage of Cairo University student elections has finished. The elections resulted in electing Student Union President and Vice-President for Cairo University. Shady Abdelrahman Faculty of Archaeology wins Cairo University student union presidency by acclamation, and Hamed Mohamed Hamed Faculty of Science wins Cairo University student union vice-presidency.

Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries were elected for the seven supreme student committees. They are teams committee, cultural committee, sport committee, artistic committee, social committee, gawala committee, and scientific committee. Student Sally Same Faculty of Mass Communication wins team committee secretary office, student Taha Mohamed Abdelaal Faculty of Agriculture wins team assistant secretary office, and student Nesma Amr Mustafa Faculty of Arts wins cultural committee secretary office. Student Amina Desouky Mohamed Faculty of Early Childhood Education wins cultural committee secretary assistant office, and student Mohamed Mustafa Farag Faculty of Veterinary Medicine wins sport committee secretary office.  Student Ahmed Mohamed Abdelaziz Faculty of Nursing wins sport committee secretary assistant office, student Amira Mabrouk Mohamed Rageh Faculty of Specific Education wins artistic committee secretary office, and Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Faculty of Urban Planning wins artistic committee secretary assistant office. Student Mustafa Ahmed Hasan Faculty of Urban Planning wins social committee secretary office, student Ahmed Hussein Abdelmoneim Faculty of Veterinary Medicine wins social committee secretary assistant office, and student Nada Mohamed Abdelghany Faculty of Agriculture wins gawala committee secretary office. Student Hossam Hazem Abdelghany Faculty of Pharmacy wins gawala committee secretary assistant office, student Eman Mohamed Abdelghany Faculty of Pharmacy wins scientific committee secretary office, and student Ali Sayed Mohamed Tawfik Faculty of Arts wins scientific committee secretary assistant office.

Electoral process is conducted by secret ballot in participation with 40 students representing Cairo University student union presidents and vice-presidents. The electoral process is attended by Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht and the electoral supervising committee.

Cairo University President said that this spectrum of Cairo University students representing 20 faculties contested democratic and transparent elections. He added: ،،I extend my congratulations to student election winners and expect students to continue democratic practice in the work they present for the sake of their colleagues and the university.,,

Elkhosht pointed out that new student union is expected to carry out effective student activities to benefit students. He said that Cairo University will support student union and present it all facilities required for their role in the upcoming stage.
