Increase in Impact Factors and Quotations from Cairo University Scientific Research in International Scientific Forums and Increase in International Cooperation Fields

Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht assures that the university is keen on presenting full support to increase international publication and enhance the position of Cairo University in world rankings. He pointed out that it is necessary to invest scientific research, conducted by faculty members and researchers at Cairo University, in handling specific issues related development and economy. 

Elkhosht announces that Cairo University approves financial awards for international publication amounting to EGP 29, 525, 000 by 1924 researchers from different academic sectors and faculties. He added that there is increase in the numbers of scientific researches published internationally for different university faculties and academic sectors which amount to 4038 scientific researches in the name of Cairo University in journals and scientific periodicals internationally ranked. Impact factors and quotations from international scientific research of Cairo University increased for their quality and modernity with 17.11%. Elkhosht pointed out that Cairo University owns nearly 16.5% of the total Egyptian international publication.
