Cairo University, organized a forum to support eco-tourism and green economy in Egypt

With the approach of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio 20), assesses the Community Service and Environmental Development, Cairo University in collaboration with Arab Union for Youth and Environment and the Islamic Educational, Scientific Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the United Nations Development Programme, Forum World Environment Day and the green economy, during the period of June 5 to 7 this month, and aims Forum launched an initiative to ensure sustainable development in tourism and eco-tourism and green by introducing the challenges they face and ensure the preservation of heritage and natural adaptation to climate change in Egypt, as the tourism of the most important sectors of the economy in Egypt and plays an important role increase in national income and improving the balance of payments and provide employment opportunities for young people. The Forum will launch an initiative for community awareness campaign to deal with the River Nile.
