"Political and Economic Challenges in Egypt" Conference Is Organized by Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences

The annual conference, entitled "Political and Economic Challenges in Egypt (Futuristic Vision)", is organized by Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, from May 9-11, 2015.  It is sponsored by Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, and Prof. Dr.\ Hala Al-Said, Faculty Dean. The conference is to be inaugurated at 3 p.m., at New Central Library, Cairo University, and the rest of the activities will be completed on the following days at 9 a.m., at the faculty.





The conference is attended by Dr.\ Ashraf El-Araby, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Mr.\ Hany Kadry, Minister of Finance, Mr.\ Shanta Devarajan, Chief Economist of the World Bank's Middle East and North Africa Region, and a group of Cairo University staff members and students.





The conference tackles many chief issues, such as; social mobility, democracy, social justice, social power, parties system, economic justice, economic growth, freedom of choice, social and economic solidarity, and social justice from sectorial view.
