Cairo University Signs Cooperation Protocol with Rotary Clubs Union in Youth Skills, Community Service Fields

Cairo University and Rotary Club of Egypt signed an executive cooperation protocol in fields of training, illiteracy eradication, community service and promoting the level of health awareness of students.

The protocol was signed by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar and Rotary District Governor Mayan Wasel Raslan and attended by Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development Saeed Daw, number of faculties deans and the members of Rotary District Union.

The cooperation protocol included the programs that aims at raising the health awareness of Cairo University students including Hepatitis C as a preparation for Cairo University free from Hepatitis C. The protocol also included cooperation in training students to be habilitated for eradicating the illiteracy of Cairo University employees and engaging them in societal initiatives and do community service activities. Training courses are going to be organized for raising professional efficiency of the university employees, medical convoys and Giza Governorate and graduates employing forums are going to be organized.

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar earlier received a delegation last month from Rotary Club Union headed by Dr. Mayan Wasel Raslan for discussing cooperation fields between Cairo University and Rotary Club Egypt counting 92 clubs. This is incorporated in the framework of achieving partnership for student skills development and local community service.
