Cairo University Issues Special Volume of The University Magazine to Document Comprehensive Reformation Experiment

Cairo University issues a special volume of The University Magazine that documents the comprehensive reformation experiment that the university went through throughout the last four years of Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar presidency for the university. The new volume (a duplicated volume of May and June) includes 134 pages that document all the reformation files at Cairo University. The volume begins with a dialog with Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar in which he talks about the features of his experiment. Then the dialog turns to the financial and administrative reformation file. It tackles combating corruption that lead to saving billions that are utilized in achieving many developments works inside the university. The volume discusses the educational and research reformation experiment that lead to the progress of Cairo University in global rankings. Great developments made by the university administration at hospitals level especially Kasr Al-Ainy and Abou El-Reesh hospitals are also discussed in the volume.


The volume dedicates a large space for Cairo University experiment in combating terrorism and extremism by tools of thought and art. It handles how the university managed to confront extremism through disseminating enlightened thought by a package of distinctive cultural activities and allowing opportunity for sublime art that Cairo University students reacted with.


The University Magazine is a regular monthly magazine that was suspended five years before Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar presidency for Cairo University. Its board of directors decides to issue the magazine and it began to be issued regularly.
