Funded by the European Union, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, participates, with Egyptian and European Universities, in Project of Establishing the first Joint Master in Software Engineering

Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, participates in project of establishing joint master in software engineering, supported by Tempus program: subordinated to the European Union. The project includes, besides Cairo University, Helwan University and The Egyptian University for Electronic Education as well as three Palestinian Universities and four European Universities in Italy, Germany, England and Greece.The project is considered the first of its type in Egyptian universities.


It aims at establishing advanced post-graduate studies program that provides new and profound scientific knowledge as well as scientific experience in field of software engineering in Egyptian universities, which allows preparing outstanding cadres in this field. Dr.\ Reem Bahgat, Dean of Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, declared that the program allows the most distinctive students of every Arab University to travel to one of the European Universities for three months, provided that they achieve their Master theses under the supervision of Mother University as well as hosting European University.
