The Bilateral Exchange of Academics Programme (WAP) primarily intends to support the implementation of mutual teaching and research projects between German and Egyptian scientists.

The programme offers academic visits to Germany ranging from 1 to 3 months, depending on the applicant\'s work schedule.

Target group of the WAP programme are PhD holders working at Egyptian universities or research institutions.

In order to apply for the programme, Candidates have to refer to the following link www.funding-guide.de

3 hard copies of the complete application package have to be submitted to the DAAD Cairo office 11 El Saleh Ayoub St. Zamalek, Cairo, by the deadline. Application can be submitted on any working day between 10:00 and 12:00.

Please note, an application is only valid when it has been submitted electronically together with all required documents via the DAAD portal and not via email and sent as a hard copy in 3 sets to the DAAD Cairo office by the deadline.
