El Qasr El Ainy Educational Hospital consists of 12 floors including 1200 beds. The eighth and ninth floors represent paid treatment. The hospital has resulted in a boom in the world of medicine as it is designed and equipped with the most recent equipments in the world. It represents a landmark in Cairo University's achievements. The hospital includes departments of general internal medicine counting eight departments, departments of internal surgery counting six departments, specialized surgeries counting five departments and cooperative medical units; (Intensive care – blood bank - endoscopy unit), central laboratories, diagnostic rays departments, surgical operations units, comprises 18 operations rooms quipped with all services; such as sterilization, anesthesia, and awakening rooms, equipped with all types of surgical microscopes, laser devices, diagnostic rays, can be stored on video devices. Elevators services: there are 27 elevators at the hospital to serve patients and visitors, transferring food and tools. This facilitates moving of workers in the hospital.

The hospital is considered one of the most recent hospitals in diagnosis and treatment.
