Cairo University on Sunday, 28th September 2014 at the DAAD Office in Zamalek at 4.00 p.m.
The German Government is donating, through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), technical equipment such as computers, printers and copy machines worth almost one million Egyptian pounds to support the faculty of Engineering of Cairo University which was severely damaged in parts of its buildings by a fire in August 2013.
The equipment will be handed over by H. E. Hansjörg Haber, Ambassador of Germany to Egypt and Dr. Dorothea Rüland, Secretary General of the DAAD Bonn to the President of Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, H.E. Sayed Ahmed Abd Al-Khalek and the Minister of Scientific Research H.E. Sherif Hammad.
