Cooperation agreements have been signed between Cairo University, Missouri State University and International Business Driving License (IBDL) for managing and carrying out training courses in entrepreneurship through Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC). The cooperation agreements target professional development in professional entrepreneurship field. The signed agreements include certifying two courses in the center; the first course is Certified International Professional Trainer (CIPT), exclusively certified by Missouri State University at the level of Egypt, Middle East and North Africa. After passing the training course at Leadership Development Center, the trainee gets a certificate from Missouri State University and Cairo University. The second course is International Business Driving License (IBDL), certified by Management Development Institute, Missouri State University. After passing this training course, the trainee gets the first certificate in business administration skills, which quality internationally certified and staffed by more than 40 states around the world.
Professor Gamal Abdul-Nasser, Vice President of Cairo University, Allen Kanel, Vice President of Missouri State University, Professor Amr Mustafa, The Director of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC), and a number of those who are interested in entrepreneurship areas, witnessed the celebration of signing the agreements, organized by International Business Driving License organization on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Professor Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has been honored by IBDL which awarded him the organization’s shield received by Professor Gamal Abdul-Nasser on his behalf.
Professor Amr Mustafa, The Director of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC), Cairo University, has said that the first training course of entrepreneurship will be implemented at Cairo University. He also pointed out that the International Business Driving License IBDL is consisted of two levels; the first level addresses students and is on understanding business, whereas the second one is on business administration and planning, and it addresses the managers of both governmental and private sectors, it aims at creating human cadres capable of understanding the administrative business appropriately.
Professor Amr Mustafa has also illustrated that Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) was internationally certified in October 2010 by International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT). Thus, the course material and the trainers became certified by the board. The center has also got the international certification from “Southwestern” for educator certification, American Institute of Professional Studies, and ISO international certificate. Noteworthy, The Supreme Council for University has decreed in June, 2014 the certification of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC), Cairo University, as a central unite for training at the level of Egyptian Universities.
