Cairo University Commend the Response of the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation to their Initiative Regarding Closing the Complaints and Communications File brought against one of their Professor

In its statement on Saturday, November 21, 2015, Cairo University welcome the response of Prof. Dr. Hussam Moghazy, The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, to the initiative of Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, regarding closing the complaints and communications file brought against Prof. Dr. Nader Nour el-Din, Professor of Water Resources, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, on what was considered defamation and insult to him. According to the statement, the Minister responded to the initiative of Cairo University President in recognition of the university and its professors, and as the minister is a university professor in the first place.


The statement proceeds that as Cairo University appreciate that generous response of Prof. Dr. Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation to this initiative, they confirm their deep appreciation and pride of the Egyptian school of irrigation and the efforts of their minister in defensing the Egyptian people rights in a better life at a critical phase to which Egypt has not exposed before. Cairo University confirm, with all their experiences and potentials, that they are fully prepared to contribute to and help in this matter. They call upon everybody to respect the values of disagreement and the objective expression of opinion.
