Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, Kasr Al-Ainy Hospitals – Cairo University convene Infection Prevention and Control Eighth Annual Conference, entitled ،،Together for Preventing Hepatitis C Infection,, , on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 10 a.m., at Learning Resource Center – Kasr Al Ainy Faculty of Medicine.
The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Fathy Khodeir, Kasr Al Ainy Faculty of Medicine Dean and Honorary Conference Chair, Prof. Dr. Sherif Naseh, Director General of Cairo University Hospitals and Honorary Conference Chair, and a group of different Egyptian Universities professors. Head of Preventive Medicine Sector at Ministry of Health, Head of Aseptic technique Committee at Supreme Council of Universities, Head of Environmental Affair System at Ministry of Environment, as well as members from Ministries of Health and Environment also attended the conference.
Prof. Dr. Gihan El-Kholy, Deputy Director General of Cairo University Hospitals and Conference Chair, said that the conference tackles Hepatitis C Disease outbreak reasons, its outbreak epidemic manner, and the disease prevention and control means inside and outside hospitals. The conference also tackles modern methods of treatment, and presents virus C preventive methods inside Cairo University hospitals.
