A campaign is organized at Cairo University for early detection of tumors among 40+ ladies. The campaign is sponsored by the Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Emad and Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar. The campaign is launched by Community Service and Environment Development Affairs Sector. It is supervised by Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs Prof. Dr. Said Daw in cooperation with National Program For Women Health and The National Campaign for Breast Cancer Early Detection. The campaign includes educational seminars and conducting of regular medical examination on ladies. The seminars are supervised by specialist professors.
The campaign activities start at Cairo University campus on Sunday, May 15, 2016. They continue for a month by allowing mobile mammogram unit into the university campus to conduct medical examination on 40+ ladies which is supervised by the Head of National Program For Women Health Dr. Naglaa Abdel-Razzak.
The campaign activities start at 10 a.m., on Sunday, May 15 at National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES) with orientation seminar on breast cancer and the importance of tumors early detection. Professors of Radiology, at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and General Director of National Program For Women Health Prof. Dr. Naglaa Abdel Razek is going to lecture in the seminar. Moreover, Professor of Oncology, at National Cancer Institute, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mustafa is going to deliver a lecture at the seminar.
