Faculty of Nursing – Cairo University organizes its golden jubilee celebration at 5 p.m., May 19, at Grand Celebration Hall – Faculty of Nursing. The celebration is held on occasion of the passage of 50 years since establishing Faculty of Nursing. Golden jubilee celebration is sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar and Faculty of Nursing Dean Prof. Dr. Warda Youssef. The celebration is supervised and prepared by Faculty of Nursing Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Effat Elqarmalawy. Group of faculty professors and pioneers are to participate in the celebration.

Prof. Dr. Effat Elqarmalawy said that, on the fringe of the celebration, a documentary film about the faculty is to be screened. It will include the faculty administration achievements and the services it offers to society. A booklet also that recites the faculty history throughout 50 years is to be distributed. Elqarmalawy added that honoring ceremonies are to be prepared for the employees and staff members of the faculty for the efforts they exerted.
