Cairo University Starts Carrying out Summer Activities for Students with More Interest in Disabled Ones

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar called for benefitting from the potentials of Cairo University playgrounds by organizing sport activities during summer vacation especially for students with special needs and mingling them in university activities. Those summer activities work on developing their abilities and their sense of belonging to homeland and the university. Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar urged Youth Care Administration Sector at the university to provide time investing activities at summer.


Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Students Mohamed Osman El-Khosht announced the commencement of leaders preparation training camp for Cairo University students on July 23, 2016, at the university playgrounds. The training camp heads in developing the leadership skills of the university students and early preparation of future leaderships among the youth of Cairo University to be able to serve homeland effectively. The camp includes a workshop in skills development, establishing personal relations and crises management as well as cultural lectures to be delivered by specialist professors. Prof. Dr. Osman El-Khosht pointed out that the camp consists of five regiments with four days for each, and a regiment accommodates 50 students.


The Vice-President added that the activities of the recreational, cultural and social camp for Cairo University students started at the university resort at Marsa Matruh. The camp includes student workshop for discussing societal topics for preparing visions in their regard. These topics are the role of youth in building the state, means of confronting extremism, feasibility study of small projects and how to treat the phenomenon of ultras.
