Cairo University announced the date of medical examination for newly enrolled students who passed General Secondary stage this year and joined the university faculties by University Admission Co-ordination Bureau. Medical examinations start on August 20, 2016, for Kasr Al-Ainy Medical School and Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, 8/21 for Faculty of Pharmacy and 8/22 for Faculty of Engineering. Medical examinations will start on 8/23 for Faculty of Economics and Political Science and Faculty of Physical Therapy, 8/24 for Faculty of Mass Communication, 8/25 for late students from previously mentioned faculties, 8/27 for Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Nursing. Afterwards, medical examinations will start on 8/29 for Faculty of Dar El-Ulum and 8/30 for Faculty of Computers and Information, Faculty of Specific Education and Faculty of Kindergarten. Thereafter, medical examinations will be on 8/31 and 9/1 for Faculty of Commerce, 9/3 and 9/4 for Faculty of Arts, 9/5 and 9/6 for Faculty of Law. On the next day, medical examinations will be conducted for veterinary medicine, 9/8 for Faculty of Archeology and Urban Planning and 9/17, 9/18 for students who were absent from medical examinations in general.
The Head of Central Administration for Medical Affairs Khaled Ramadan said that student medical examination will be carried out at Students Hospital at Giza. Examinations will be from 9, 30 a.m. to 11, 30 a.m. for female students and from 11, 30 a.m. to 1, 30 p.m. to male students.
Hepatitis C analysis is to be conducted for newly enrolled students for free in the framework of ،،Cairo University Free from Hepatitis C,, initiative.
