Cairo University President Gaber Nassar met a delegation from Qualitative Federation of the Rotary Clubs in Egypt, headed by Dr. Mian Salama. The meeting aims at discussing cooperation fields among the Rotary Clubs in Egypt counting 92 clubs and Cairo University. This is in the framework of the Rotary Clubs in Egypt initiative of Cairo University participation in some activities that serve students, employees and local community. This can be attained by forming integrate partnership represented in the Rotary Clubs in Egypt, training committees, medical convoys, youth, illiteracy eradication and Cairo University.
The meeting tackled the study of cooperation protocol preparation between Cairo University and Qualitative Federation of the Rotary Clubs. The cooperation protocol includes holding employment forums for final years students and organizing training courses for raising employees professional efficiency. In addition, the protocol covers the federation participation in carrying out ،،Cairo University Free from Hepatitis C,, initiative by educational seminars necessary for infection control and some medical convoys at Giza and Fayoum Governorates. Moreover, Rotary Clubs Federation is going to complete Cairo University initiative of illiteracy eradication among the university workers by training some students on educational programs necessary for this purpose.
The meeting was attended by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar, Professor of Liver Viruses at Cairo University Gamal Essmat, Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Said Daw. Besides, Qualitative Federation of the Rotary Clubs in Egypt Mian Salama, the Head of Medical Convoy Committee at Rotary Area Maged Zakariah, Head of Hepatitis C Committee at Rotary Area Souheir Gouda, the Head of Youth Committee at Rotary Area Sherif Wally and some leaders of Rotary Clubs in Egypt also attended the meeting.
