Cairo University President Gaber Nassar and Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Mokarram discussed together cooperation between the university and the ministry during her visit to Cairo University Yesterday. The cooperation between the university and the ministry is concerned with Egyptian Citizens living abroad. This includes benefitting from scientific and research potentials of Cairo University in preparing studies and research that boost the ministry work regarding means of communication with Egyptian scholars abroad especially those who are graduates of Cairo University. Moreover, the cooperation includes utmost benefiting from Cairo University centers and units specialized in presenting scientific visions and solutions concerning methods of dealing with some requests of employees abroad to connect them with their homeland. For example, this can be attained by custom exemptions of their cars when they arrive at Egypt, their insurance umbrella and cash transfers to Egypt.
The Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs said that she agreed with Cairo University President on accompanying students from Cairo University for meeting Egyptian scholars abroad. This is to take place during the activities of ،،Egypt Can,, Conference organized by the ministry by mid-December.
The minister pointed out after her meeting with Cairo University President that ،،academic ideology is relevant to boosting the plan of the ministry in terms of Egyptian citizens abroad.,,
Cairo University President said that ،،Cairo University will devote its scientific experiences and cadres to the initiative of the ministry,,. He pointed out that ،،the scientific potentials of the university can greatly contribute to managing this cooperation which is crucial for the integration of all the state institutions,,. He added that ،،the university and its professors place their scientific potentials at the disposal of the state institutions to contribute to solving some of the problems that face the state or the society by scientific research in various specialties,,.
