Science Heritage Center - Cairo University holds a workshop on the path of the Holy Family journey in Egypt. The workshop will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Al-Tanwir Hall, New Central Library, at Cairo University.
The workshop is sponsored by the Minister of Tourism Al-Sayed Yehia and Cairo University President Gaber Nassar. The workshop is organized in the framework of Cairo University keenness on cooperation with different state authorities in scientific and cultural fields and within cooperation frameworks in Cairo University represented by Science Heritage Center and the Ministry of Tourism represented by General Authority for Tourism Development. Elite of specialists and officials from General Authority for Tourism Development, Supreme Council of Antiquities, specialized Civil Society institutions and officials from the church who are concerned with Christian heritage participate in the workshop.
Acting President of Science Heritage Center Hamed Eid said that ،،the journey of the Holy Family from Palestine to Egypt represents a watershed in the history of religion and a main landmark in the history of the region and its religious and cultural heritage.,,
Eid pointed out that ،،the goals of the workshop focus on the call for carrying out the projects previously prepared by the integration of the roles of all concerned sides and the call for developing an integrating planning conception for tourism development for the path of the Holy Family.,, He added that ،،the workshop is aimed at innovating an organizational framework for the integration of the concerned sides.,,
