Cairo University participates in the second meeting of International Network of Emerging Library Innovators – Middle East and North Africa (INELI-MENA) which is held from October 1-5, 2017, in Cairo and Alexandria.
The meeting includes 32 youth work leaders in public libraries from 16 Arab countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, and Palestine.
Cairo University is represented in the second meeting activities by Center for Research and Information Services at Faculty of Arts Cairo University, headed by Faculty of Arts Dean and Chief of the Center Board of Directors Ahmed Elsherbiny, Deputy Chief of Board of Directors Ragaa Ahmed Ali, and the Director of Center Fayqa Hasan.
Professor at Cairo University, Head of Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI), and supervisor of the training program said that ،،The training program is aimed at developing administrative skills, training on innovation skills, forming a team work inside public libraries, solving problems, and participating in national efforts for sustainable development.,,
The first meeting of International Network of Emerging Library Innovators – Middle East and North Africa (INELI-MENA) is earlier held in cooperation with German Library Association in Berlin from October 1-5, 2016.
