Faculty of Therapy Cairo University celebrated obtaining international accreditation for B.Sc. program from World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) which has 111 member states. The ceremony is sponsored by Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht. Faculty of Physical Therapy is the first faculty in Egypt to obtain international accreditation. Cairo University President receives international accreditation certificate from the representative of WCPT John Kerry during the ceremony held by Faculty of Physical Therapy at Grand Celebration Hall – Cairo University. The ceremony is attended by Faculty of Physical Therapy Dean Alaa Balbaa, faculty vice-deans, professors, students, graduates, and elite of physical therapists.

Elkhosht acclaims the efforts of Faculty of Physical Therapy in developing education, training, and uplifting the profession level by graduating trained cadres working in physical therapy in Egypt and the Arab World, in addition to obtaining international accreditation after local accreditation.

Elkhosht said that ،،Cairo University will make its best to promote its faculties and provide required support for local and international competition to achieve Cairo University strategy of development and transfer into third-generation university strategy.,,

The ceremony of Faculty of Physical Therapy Cairo University is held in conjunction with the graduation of class B.Sc. 2016, honoring classes 1984, 1985, and graduation of the 3rd class of Physical Therapy practitioner degree which is developed at the faculty to cope with the global development of physical therapy profession.
