Elkhosht: Faculty Members Considered to be Important Pillar of Soft and Hard Power in Egypt
Cairo University Council approves the resolution of Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht regarding writing off leave and secondment donations.
Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht earlier decided to cancel all the previous fees that were imposed in the form of donations on faculty members who take secondments, leaves, exceed legal secondment period, or accompany a spouse. Applicable rule of Universities Organization Law should be implemented in this regard.
Elkhosht underscores that faculty members are one of the most important pillars of soft power in Egypt amid the region and globe. They play a crucial role in increasing national income through the remittances they send from abroad.
