Confucius Institute at Cairo University wins the award of the best institute at world level for HSK exams; international Chinese placement exams for learners.
Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht delegates the Manager of Confucius Institute Cairo University Rehab Mahmoud to receive the award at China during her participation in the international conference for world Confucius Institutes convened at Xi’an City on 12-13 December, 2017.
Confucius Institute at Cairo University was earlier awarded as the best Confucius Institute at world level in Chinese language education in December 2016.
Cairo University established Confucius Institute under the convention between Cairo University and Beijing University and China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (NOTCFL) in 2007 to build cultural cooperation bridge between Egypt and China. Cairo University currently cooperates with China to establish the largest model Confucius Institute at the Middle East level and inaugurate it soon.
