Cairo University President: ،Work at Student Services Building Paused until Safety Assured after Limited Fire Broken out in One Cafeteria,

Limited fire breaks out early morning on Thursday at one of the cafeterias of student service building at Cairo University campus because of electrical fire. Civil protection forces are called. The fire is controlled without casualties.


Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht issues a decree of forming a technical and legal committee for investigating the causes of fire in one of the cafeterias inside student services building at campus. Cairo University President decides pausing work at the building until the committee prepare its report regarding the fire. The committee is also assigned for inspecting the building immediately and preparing a report about its safety factors and feasibility before opening it again for students.
