Cairo University hosts the journalist and writer Hamdy Rezk in a panel discussion on his book entitled ،،Kiralayson in the Love of the Copts,, at Ahmed Lotfy Elsayed Hall Cairo University, on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. It is the first session of Cairo University cultural salon for the second term 2017/2018. Former Minister of Religious Endowments Mahmoud Hamdi Zakzouk and Father Rafik Greish participate in the panel discussion, with Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht, Cultural Salon Coordinator Abdullah Eltattawy, professors, and students attending.
Copies of the book are distributed on students. ،،Kiralayson in the Love of the Copts,, book is issued by Rose al-Yousef Foundation ،،Elkitab Elzahabi Series.,, It is a reading in the record of Copts conditions in Egypt in the crossroad of the 2011 Alexandria bombing and launching the Great Church at proposed new capital of Egypt (2018). The journalist and writer Hamdy Rezk document the Coptic condition in Egypt and the patriotism of Copts and Egyptian Church in their stances amid Egyptian people.
Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht said that the activities of cultural season and salon of Cairo University continue in the second term of the current academic year 2017/2018 by a group of ideological meetings and seminars and artistic parties. He pointed out that the activities are aimed at enhancing Cairo University role in community service, raising awareness, educating students, and extending the domain of their interaction with patriotic issues especially those related to development and uplifting society.
