Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht decides to exempt hostel students from paying accommodation fees of the duration spent by them at hostels in June 2018. This is exclusive to students who paid May 2018 fees.
Elkhosht pointed out that Cairo University is responsible for paying hostel fees to nearly 5000 students. The university established for the first time a bureau for hostel student care to confidentially help students who need support. He added that Cairo University exempts all students from food fees for two weeks during October, by the beginning of study. It also provides residential places at hostels for students with special needs and presents necessary care to them.
Elkhosht announces that social solidarity fund at Cairo University pays study fees to 11, 424 students at faculties with EGP 3, 335, 000, and purchases prosthetic devices to a number of disability challengers with EGP 114, 150.
