Cairo University Senate Reviews Second Term Exams Progress at Faculties and All Results to Be Announced Before Mid-July 2018

 Cairo University Senate reviews the progress of second term exams of Cairo University faculties in the academic year 2017/2018 in a meeting headed by Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht. All measures of securing exams work are taken including providing administrative security personnel to secure exam halls, printing exam papers on the same day of exam, and avoiding the circulation of exams via devices connected to internet to keep their secrecy. Special exam halls are provided to students with special needs and means of comfort are provided to students to perform their exams.


Cairo University President said that exams are regular at university faculties. Exams at Cairo University are performed by nearly 200, 000 students. Elkhosht pointed out that exams progress at Cairo University faculties is quiet, disciplined and stable. He added that emergency committees are formed to take immediate decisions regarding exams in case of any sudden problem and the authority is for faculty dean in those cases. Elkhosht urges activating electronic correction system and finishing the announcement of all exam results before mid-July 2018.
