Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht receives a delegation of 7 professors representing universities coalition; Cornell University, University of California (Davis), Michigan University, and Purdue University at the U.S. and some Indian agricultural companies. The coalition is the strongest one of its type. It applied to US AID to establish a center for scientific excellence for Egypt in agriculture.
Cairo University President signs the letter of intent with American Universities Coalition to establish a center for scientific excellence at Faculty of Agriculture Cairo University so that Faculty of Agriculture becomes the only partner to this coalition.
