Cairo University pursues raising the awareness of its students through study programs at faculties, potentials, conditions of joining those programs, and job opportunities for graduates. Faculty of Engineering Cairo University holds a series of meetings and orientation seminars at the faculty for study programs including study nature and opportunities of enrollment, training, and work. The meetings and seminars are sponsored by Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, Faculty of Engineering Dean Elsayed Tag-Eldin with faculty vice-deans, faculty members and study program coordinators participating.
Students of General Secondary Certificate (GSC) and equal certificates are invited by the faculty to attend two seminars on Tuesday, July 3, and Wednesday, July 4, to get introduced to Faculty of Engineering programs whether with the two-term system or credit-hour system.
Elkhosht added that two new credit-hour programs at Faculty of Engineering; Civil Engineering (Civil Infrastructure Discipline) and Health Care Systems Engineering and Management are approved. A third new program named Aviation and Navigation Engineering and Management is under approval as a credit-hour system. The number of credit-hour programs at Faculty of Engineering are 11 programs scheduled to start by the beginning of the upcoming academic year.
