The University of Cairo Confirmed  that keen on holding students for the academic year this came in implementation of the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education that is to hold student elections in universities in response to the demands of a large number of students until they put the new regulation among students within the university community and opinion before taking action, adoption and completion of the structures for Student unions in support of democratic practice and broaden the base of participation.





d. Hossam Kamel said that all students have the right to express their opinions and that Cairo University is keen on this right for all children of students. He also stressed that students will be elections without interference from the university administration and the students themselves will oversee the conduct in all its phases through a committee of students from non-student candidates. It was decided to extend to the acceptance of applications on March 21 to announce the final statements on Tuesday, 27.
