Media Statement from Cairo University Concerning Discovering Rotten Meats at University Hostel before Being Cooked


Cairo University decided to stop supplying university hostels with frozen meats, after discovering rotten frozen meats at University Hostels at Beau Lac du Caire, although the meats got validity certificate.


The supplier of meats for University Hostel has been convicted to sign a fine equivalent to the price of twice the amount of the meats damaged with the acknowledgement of Food Supervision Committee, University Hostels, for being not fit for human consumption.
