Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, casts his vote in the Country's Constitutional Referendum

Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University and Rapporteur of Al-Khamseen Committee of 2013 Constitution, has stressed that the new constitution that Egyptians casted their votes in its referendum is an achievement of the Egyptian people's hopes in preserving rights, freedom, ensuring justice, equality and decent life.

It also founds the basis of modern state that depends on science. He stated, after casting his vote in the committee number 45 at Al-nour school for the blind at Al-mohandseen, that it is the first time that a constitution includes allocation of a rate that is not less than 4% of public budget for education and a rate that is not less than 3% for health. He obliges the state to carry out this and increase these rates gradually. The constitution is also biased for value of science, scientific research and developing research institutions.
