Cairo University Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation issues anew volume of "Hermes" journal that is specialized in publishing academic research in humanities and social science field of high value in Arabic and English. It is the third volume in year 2013. Hermes is one of the works of Cairo University project of translation that is conducted through Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation - Cairo University that is headed by Dr.\ Amany Badawy and sponsored by Dr.\Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University. The journal aims at boosting scientific publication among staff members and researchers at Egypt and the Arab World in field of social and human research and studies that are subject to accurate arbitration of senior scholars and specialists.
Dr.\ Amany Badawy, Manager of the Center, states that Hermes' new volume (carrier of wisdom to humans) includes arbitrated articles, researches and reports in Arabic and English. The Arabic section conducts an important empirical study entitled "Factors Influencing the Coverage of the Existing Contact of Corruption Cases" by the researcher Mohamed Reda Habib. The study addresses the factors influencing press and internet processing of corruption cases due to what it represents of danger on the Egyptian society. The researcher used scanning method which is one of the forms of information collection as well as quantitative monitoring of the factors influencing the coverage of the existing contact of corruption cases.
