Cairo University still among the Best 500 Universities

Cairo University is still among the best 500 universities around the world in 2012, where its order is between 405 and 410. Noteworthy, Cairo University is the only Egyptian one between the best 5000 universities, this according to the report of Shanghai University that has been published on 15/8/2012.

This achievement returns back to the efforts of Cairo University and its staff members in developing the criteria leading to the occurrence of the university among the best universities in the global classifications. Most important of these criteria are increasing the amount and quality of scientific researches published in periodicals and global encyclopedias, as well as the quality of staff members and their academic performance level, putting the size of the university in consideration.
