The Educational Process settles down in Cairo University
Old and new Cairo University students have attended regularly since the first day of the academic year of 2010/2011. Schedules in all faculties for the different academic classes have been announced. The lecture rooms and halls have been prepared and the students were nest distributed among the academic sections and the university deans and vice deans have gone around their faculties.
Dr. Hussam Kamel, President of Cairo University, has asserted the necessity of providing all required potentials for the quality of the educational process, for the training of students, and for the implementation of activities that would provide students with better opportunities to enhance their scientific and pragmatic capacities, help them develop their different skills along with encouraging the students to participate in the activities that are suitable for them and that should complement the educational process. Dr. Hussam has stressed the importance of incorporating into these activities programs that would develop the capabilities of the students in conducting scientific research and help them become innovative. Other programs should contribute to preparing them for the labor market and to help them acquire new experiences. The Cairo University President has also asserted the necessity of benefiting from the subsidy to academic books by providing it for students at reasonable prices. He also stressed the importance of going to the aid of students of special needs.
