Cairo University's hostels will be ready as soon as possible before 15/9/2012; the start of the new academic year 2012/2013, where all maintenance and renovations works will be finished. The rooms will be allocated with the first day, with special case for the student of special needs where specific places will be allocated for them.
Noteworthy, hostel development plan, accredited since last year costing 11,000, 000, will be completed. The plan includes renewing students stay rooms, providing kitchens and restaurants with new equipments, maintaining hostel buildings, developing student services offices, and perfecting El Sheikh Zayed's hostel. Equipments of the hostel subordinated to El Sheikh Zayed, with 450 students capacity, have been finished. A restaurant, computer labs, a clinic have been equipped, as well as continuing to transfer students by buses from the university to the hostel and vice versa.
