Cairo University confirmed the necessity of enhancing the existence of police forces inside Al-Kasr Al-Ainy campus to secure the faculties and the hospitals inside the campus and protect patients, employees, and the citizens who frequently visit university hospitals. Cairo University demanded from Cairo Security Directorate enhancing its existence inside Al-Kasr Al-Ainy campus. The university demanded on April 9, 2014 from Cairo Security Directorate immediate interference to protect faculties of Al-Kasr Al-Ainy and university hospitals which exist inside it, employees, and the citizens who frequently visit university hospitals.
This is the result of the riots witnessed by Al-Kasr Al-Ainy in which MB students rioted and clashed with the security of the faculty and tried to break into the offices and attack employees. In its statement, Cairo University confirmed that it will never tolerate the violence made by MB students and it will not allow them to threat the university's stability.
