Cairo University Honors its Athletically Distinctive Students

Cairo University holds a ceremony to its athletically distinctive students and the winners of athletic competitions and championships conducted at the level of Cairo University and other Egyptian Universities through Martyr Ibrahim El-Refaie course and university Olympics recently held at Alexandria.


Athletically talented student honoring ceremony is sponsored by Prof. Dr.\ Hossam Kamel, Cairo University President. It is held on 25\9\2012 at the swimming pool, Cairo University playground, Cairo University Hostel. It will be witnessed by Prof. Dr.\ Ezz-el-Din Abu-Steit, Cairo University President for Education and Students Affairs.


During the ceremony, awards and certificates of recognition will be distributed among students who won at university periodic in collaborative and individual games where students of Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Engineering won at the first three ranks in the ranking of the year. Awards and certificates of recognition will be distributed among students who won in Martyr Ibrahim El-Refaie course.


Cairo University won with the first rank. The ceremony includes honoring the students who participated in the university Olympics 2011/2012 held at Alexandria where Cairo University won with the second rank as 24 students won golden medals, 17 students won silver students, and 18 students won bronze medals in various individual and collaborative athletic sports.
