Cairo University has decided to fire 10 students involved in acts of violence at the university campus through student demonstrations in the first week of study of the current academic year. Examination of other students on the background of the same events is underway. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar has already assigned a team of legal affairs at the university and administrative security with dumping videos recorded by the university to these demonstrations and identifying the identity and the names of the students who practiced acts of violence and vandalism, including smashing the university gates in front of the subway station, attacking the administrative security near those gates and throwing them with Molotov and smashing electronic gates.
The Legal Affairs at the university has already adopted legal procedures to notify those students twice telegraphically at their registered addresses at the faculties to comply with investigation. They will be punished with the penalty of final firing applying to article no. 184 repeated from Universities organization Law. The fired students are a student from Faculty of Commerce, a student from Faculty of Arts, five students from Faculty of Science, three students from Faculty of Dar El-Ulum, and there are other students who are wanted in an investigation at the background of similar incidents in the first two weeks of study.
