Japanese Ambassador in Cairo: Cairo University is considered a center for cultural enlightenment in the Arab World

Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has received Mr. \ Takehiro Kagawa, the Japanese Ambassador in Cairo, on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, for celebrating 40 years since the establishment of Japanese Department, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, as well as the arrangement of holding a conference for this occasion on November 16, 2014.


Nassar has welcomed the Japanese Ambassador, confirming that Cairo University is keen on boosting the Japanese Department to become a bridge for cooperation and consolidating bonds of friendship between the two countries. Nassar has also given the university shield to Mr.\ Takehiro.


The Japanese Ambassador has expressed his pleasure of the existing cooperation of Cairo University, which is considered a center for cultural enlightenment in the Arab World.
