Cairo University organizes a promotional convoy for illiteracy eradication activity in cooperation with university students for five days from April 26 to April 30, 2015. The opening session will start at 11 a.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Conference Center, Cairo University Hostel.
The convoy organization comes in the context of launching the national project “Giza without Illiteracy” at the remote centers and villages of Giza. The inauguration is attended by Dr.\ Khaled Zakariah El-Adly, Giza Governor, Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, Dr.\ Gamal Abdul-Nasser, Vice President of Cairo University for Community Service and Environment Development, Dr.\ Ezz-ul-Din Abu-Steit, Vice President of Cairo University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr.\ Gaber Awad, Giza Governor Adviser for Illiteracy Eradication, Major General Eng.\ Mohamed Afify, Chairman of the Executive Board for Illiteracy Eradication and Adult Education, and elite of university professors and pioneers are attending as well.
The activities continue for five days through which a walk way will be prepared in front of the New Central Library to gather the convoy which work on promoting illiteracy eradication activity in cooperation with a number of university students.
