Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has inspected second term exams tasks conducted at Exams Compound – Cairo University Campus where fourth year students of Faculty of Law were performing their first exam.
Nassar has got reassured during his tour about equipping exams halls, providing students with means of comfort, preparing boards of examiners for students with special needs, and making sure that there is a doctor at the building.
Nassar has spoken with the students who were performing exams and reassured them that University will provide them with all procedures of comfort to perform their exams, and will immediately follow up any complaint about exams.
Nassar has confirmed the importance of alternating answers papers among correctors in order for the results to be quickly announced. He asserted banning bringing mobile phones or other means of technology inside exams hall.
On the other hand, a state of quietness prevailed at the start of second term exams at faculties of Cairo University, and no negative phenomena were witnessed. Second term exams at Cairo University started since May 9, 2015 at Faculty of Specific Education, May 11 at Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, May 12 at both Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Law, My 16 at Faculty of Archaeology, and May 19 at Faculty of Pharmacy.
Whereas exams of Faculty of Kindergarten and Faculty of Commerce start on May 20, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Computers and Information start on May 23. Exams of Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences start on May 24. Exams of Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dar El-Ulum start on May 26. Exams of Faculty of Mass Communication and Faculty of Engineering start on May 27. Exams of Faculty of Urban Planning and Faculty of Nursing start on May 30. All the exams at Cairo University are going to end on June25.
