Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, received Congolese Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo during his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt where Congolese Prime Minister delivered a speech at Grand Celebration Hall – Cairo University.
He addressed Cairo University young people at Grand Celebration Hall saying that they have to know that the African Continent is the continent of young people, and it is already the most youthful continent as half of the Africans are 18 years old or younger, and it is expected that the population rate of the continent will be multiplied by year 2050 to exceed 2 billion.
Congolese Prime Minister confirmed, in his speech, that strong and renewable leadership for the sake of the development of Africa should adopt a durable development track, pointing out that young people are the cradle of humanity and future.
He proceeded that the future of Africa is the same as the world future; dictated by globalization rules in the race of achieving richness in which all nations participate, and which can be won provided that the leadership of each country adapts to the global competition prerequisites.
After delivering his speech in the presence of the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, the Minister of Environment, a number of public figures, ambassadors, diplomats and Cairo University professors and students, Congolese Prime Minister was presented a shield of Cairo University dome by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar as recognition. Congolese Prime Minister also put his speech on the memorial record of Cairo University.
